1957 Lincoln Capri |
 |
44,389 Miles
Seascape Blue with Starmist White top
This is truly a “Survivor Car”. The car was removed from a
25+ year storage in 2005. The owner had the car since 1968.
Documents supporting the original mileage include.
Antifreeze change tag in 1964 showing 37_____ miles. Oil change
stickers in door jams from 1967 with ________ miles. The car still
has most of its original paint. There has been some touch-up. The
engine and trans are original. The bottom of the car was Media
Blasted from the firewall back and detailed before the new exhaust
was installed. The brake booster and wheel cylinders were rebuilt.
The brake hoses and steel lines were replaced. The car sits on
what are believed to be the original Firestone 500 tires. The
original spare matches the tires on the car. The car does not have
A/C however the previous owner started to add the roof ducts, and
trunk plastic tubes. We put a new headliner in the car as well as
repaired the seat with NOS material due to stains from something
sitting on it. This car is too nice to restore. Asking $11,000.00

1957 Continental Mark II |

59,224 Miles
Paint code D21 Tan Iridescent Metallic. One of only 40 cars built
with this paint code. This pristine example of automotive history
was originally delivered in Texas. Owners in CA, TN, and FL have
had a chance to experience the joy of ownership with this fine
car. The car appears to have been painted or touched up in the mid
1980’s. The lacquer paint has areas of “checking”. The leather
interior is very nice and shows wear on the front seat. I suspect
the carpet has been replaced but I’m not sure. ’57 had different
carpet from ‘56 The car had the fuel system flushed, tank lined,
carb rebuilt, new correct exhaust, New brake boosted and master
cyl, new front springs, and new tires. This work was done after
the most recent 9 year storage in Florida , 1994-2003 There is no
visible rust and I didn’t see any sign of rust repair. Asking
price $35,000.00
